 Assembly Instructions.

Perspective/Orientation of the Builder: the photo of the desk is taken from the vantage point of sitting at the desk – so the “front” side of the desk is the side where the chair would slide into the desk.

Place 4 lower posts in a rectangle - with the post-bracket holes toward the outer sides of the desk.

* The two posts closest to the builder will be the front posts – posts further away are the back posts.

Place one short plain apron across the left front & back lower posts.  Place the other short plain apron across the right front & right lower posts.  Place both of them with the un-notched side of the aprons facing down.

Place the long plain apron across the back lower posts with the notched side facing down.  Place a mini apron on the left front lower post, and a mini apron on the right front lower post.  Place both of them with the notched side facing down.

Place each of the middle posts over the lower posts (locking in the short, long and mini aprons), with the post bracket holes toward the outer sides of the desk.

Note: The post bracket holes on the lower and middle posts should now be lined up with each other.

Secure each of the lower posts to the middle posts with post brackets and connectors. At each post, use 2 post brackets (one in front and one in back of each lower/middle post connection) and 2 sets of connectors.

Place a short channel/slide apron across the left posts.  Place the other short channel/ slide apron across the right posts.  Place both of them with the channel at the top.  Note: the drawer slides must be facing inward to the center of the desk.

Place the long channel apron across the back middle posts; the notched side down.

Insert the long narrow apron across the front middle posts; the notched side down.

Slide the slats into the channel created by the long channel apron and the short channel/slide aprons.  Put the slat with the smooth side in first, then put biscuits in the biscuit grooves.

Place the next 4 slats with biscuit grooves on both sides in next ; placing biscuits in each biscuit groove after placing in the slat.  Place the last slat with the side without the grooves facing the front of the desk.

Each top post has one leg missing.  Place the top posts on  the middle posts; with the missing leg facing the desktop slots.

Note: The post-bracket holes on the middle and top posts should now be lined up with each other.

Secure them with connectors to the middle posts.

Interlock a short drawer side and 2 long drawer sides so that the channel faces the inside of the drawer, and is on the bottom.

Insert the drawer floor into the channel.

Interlock the 2nd short drawer side to close up the drawer.

Place the drawer brackets over the short drawer sides – with the channel facing outward.

Lock them to the short drawer sides with drawer connectors.

Secure the drawer handles to the long drawer side (through pre-drilled holes).

Slide the entire drawer into the drawer slides on the desk.
